A Christmas Fayre is held on the first Saturday in December with coffee and mince pies, stalls, gifts, and Father Christmas for the young children.

An Easter Fayre is held on the Saturday of Easter weekend with coffee and hot cross buns and stalls organised by a variety of groups all sharing their profits with the hall.  The Easter Bunny is in attendance with eggs for the children.

Held monthly, showing excellent films of live performances.  Both this and the cinema have been enjoyed locally, saving the inconvenience and expense of going into Cambridge.  This has enabled many who would not otherwise get out for an evening to see films on a large screen with full cinema sound.

Our cash prize bingo night is held every month (except December). The evening is split into two halves, with a coffee and biscuits interval in the middle. There’s no need to book – you can just turn up at the door on the night.

Great value refreshments will be on sale, and you are welcome to bring your own alcohol.

When friends and family visit, bring them along to bingo… We welcome everybody, and regularly attract players from within the village and further afield each month.

The Village Cinema is held monthly and attracts a good audience to watch up-to-date films.

Held on Tuesday mornings is run by a team of volunteers. It is a popular meeting place especially for those who live alone and enjoy getting out to chat with friends. 

 Organised by the Trustees, this event has provided refreshments for the over-65s for more than 90 years. What began as a simple tea has grown into a summer supper prepared by the Trustees, followed by light entertainment. For many people living on their own, it remains an occasion they look forward to each year. 

Monday Studio is a group of amateur artists meeting in the hall, the group organises a biennial exhibition and sale of arts and crafts, over a whole weekend in July. This is supported by the Trustees and open to entries from anyone in the village to show their work and offer it for sale. There is no charge to exhibit or to visit the show, it is purely for the village to enjoy the talent we have in our midst. A percentage of sales taken is donated to the village hall.
